Baseball Season Opens With Back-to-Back Games
(MEMPHIS, TN - March 13-18, 2023) - To kick off the baseball season, the Eagles played against Fayette Academy at USA Stadium on Monday, which resulted in a 4-0 win.
Alex Twigg doubled and Parker Paschal pitched 5 innings and got the win for the Eagles.
The next game was on Tuesday against the Knights Baseball Academy at Bartlett.
Alex McAlpin went 1-2 and started on the mound for the Eagles, but they lost 10-0.
On Wednesday, the boys played a road game at ECS in a battle of the Eagles, which once again resulted in a 10-0 loss.
Parker Paschal went 2-3 for the Eagles and Alex Twigg was on the mound.
On Friday, the Eagles played Arab (AL) and ended with a loss, 7-3.
Parker Paschal, Cooper Daniel, and Cooper Nerby each drove in a run.
Ethan Moss had 3 1/3 innings pitched along with Cooper Daniel, who had 2 2/3 innings pitched for SBA.
The final game for the week was at Tipton-Rosemark on Saturday, which ended with a 19-0 loss.
Sam Price went 2-2 along with Ethan Moss, who went 1-2 with a double.
The boys will play again on Tuesday at Tipton-Rosemark.
